As he noted, the organizers monitor the latest developments related to the coronavirus and discuss the matter with the competent authorities.
“We are following the guidelines provided by the Dutch National Institute for Health and the Environment and are exploring various possible scenarios together with the European Broadcasting Union,” said Warmer.
However, he said that it is too early to comment on possible scenarios in view of their dependence on the further development of events.
“Our goal remains to organize the unforgettable Eurovision song contest in May,” said Vormer.
Earlier, the European Broadcasting Union assessed the possibility of canceling the Eurovision Song Contest due to the situation with coronavirus.
