What to think of the 3rd or 4th mandates in West Africa? In Guinea, the possibility of a third mandate of President Alpha Condé is tearing the country apart. In Togo, President Faure Gnassingbé has just been elected for a 4th term. Franco-Togolese Kofi Yamgnane was, in turn, a member of a French government and candidate for a Togolese presidential election.
