Armel Roussel arrives in Paris, at the Théâtre de La Tempête, with his new production of L'Éveil du printemps. The play written by Frank Wedekind in 1891 was censored in Puritan Germany, focusing on the desires of adolescents.

For his staging, Armel Roussel “has in mind the country of my adolescence and the memory of my 15 years, during the balls of July 14 or August 15. I remember a place where the intimate and the extreme merge, where everyone knows each other so well that everything is known but nothing is said ”.

Spring Awakening is played at the Tempest Theater until March 29, 2020.
