If you wanted to survey the mountains of Isère in the days to come, you will have to be extra careful. Indeed, the prefecture of the department of Isère announced via a press release, strong risks of avalanches on the different massifs. Those of Belledonne, Grandes-Rousses and Oisans present a risk of level 4 out of 5. Those of Chartreuse and Vercors between 3 and 4 out of 5.

The prefect of Isère called "for the greatest vigilance in the mountains and strongly recommends, in this case, the practice of mountain activities [hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, etc.]". Caution is therefore advised, at least for the next few days.
