Osaka Prefecture announced on February 2 that it has been confirmed that women in their 40s and men in their 50s, both living in Osaka, have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Among them, a woman in her forties participated in a concert held at a live house in Osaka on 16th of last month.
At this live house, four men and women who participated in the concert on the 15th the day before were confirmed infected, and it was pointed out that a mass outbreak was suspected. In addition, two men of them participated in the concert on the 16th.
The woman developed fever symptoms on the 24th of last month, and after consulting a medical institution in the prefecture on the 25th and 29th, a positive result was confirmed on the 2nd.
Men in their 50s also had contact with men in their 40s who had attended concerts on the 18th of last month. The man developed fever on the 22nd of last month, and after consulting a medical institution in the prefecture on the 25th and 29th, a positive test was confirmed on the 2nd.
