Hong Sang-soo shared the honor of winning the director's award at his first Berlin Film Festival with Kim Min-hee, a persona.

At the 70th Berlin International Film Festival awards ceremony, which was held on February 29 (local time), he won the Silver Bear Prize award for his new `` Fugitive Woman. '' Hong Sang-soo gave a hot hug to Kim Min-hee, who was sitting next to him after his name was called.

Hong Sang-soo, who received the trophy on the awards ceremony, said, "I want to thank everyone. I thank the people who worked for me, the film festival officials and the judges."

"I want actresses to get up and get applause," he said. The people in the auditorium applauded the two actors.

'The Woman Who Fleeed' is a film that follows 'Gamhee', where her husband, who has never been away since marriage, travels to meet three friends through two promised meetings and one chance meeting. Hong Sang-soo and Kim Min-hee's seventh breathing work also featured in Seo Film, Song Sun-mi, Kim Sae-byeol and Kwon Hae-hyo.
Director Hong Sang-soo was honored with the award after being invited to four competitions at the Berlin International Film Festival. Kim Min-hee, a persona, won the Best Actress award at the Berlin Film Festival in 2017 for 'On the Beach at Night'.
