[Explanation] The epidemic of new coronavirus pneumonia continues, and Hong Kong is "hard to find". People line up all night for masks. At present, the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions has opened a mask factory in an effort to alleviate the shortage of masks in Hong Kong. Achieving this kind of charity is inseparable from Hong Kong industrialist Luo Fuchang.

[Explanation] Luo Fuchang, 71, is the founder of Hong Kong Wing Fu Container Group and the first group of entrepreneurs to settle in Tai Po Industrial Village, Hong Kong. When the government appealed to Hong Kong businessmen to build a mask factory in Hong Kong, he immediately responded.

On January 30, Director Zhang Jianzong (Department of Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government) appealed on television, hoping that some companies could return to Hong Kong to produce masks. When we heard the news at that time, we said that we have a lot of vacancies here, and we can make some vacancies to donate to them, and we must help. This is also to do something for Hong Kong and society. We are very willing and happy to do it. There are four floors on our side, and we are demarcating about 5,000 square feet (free of rent) for them.

[Explanation] The two sides hit it off. The FTU is responsible for the renovation of the plant and the production of masks. Yongfu Container Group is responsible for the provision of the site and logistics support. After 20 days, the first mask was produced from this special mask factory. In the first stage, the monthly output will be 100,000, and it is expected that it will be increased to 100,000 per day after fully automatic production in late March.

The entire operation is the responsibility of the Federation of Trade Unions. We just do a support and logistical assistance. In the canteen and meals, the factory car, carrying workers to and from work, and now rent-free to them, as well as security, are all arranged by us. We don't charge a penny, it should be a voluntary nature to cooperate with them. So we can finish talking soon. How long do they need it? This depends on the intention of the FTU, and we are all right here.

[Explanation] Luo Fuchang has opened a factory in Hong Kong since 1978 and was awarded the Hong Kong Young Industrialist Award in 1988. Thirty years later, his son Luo Yongbang took over and became a new generation of young entrepreneurs in Hong Kong. Luo Yongbang said that under the influence of his father, he had a deep affection for Hong Kong and his motherland since he was a child. At the moment of the epidemic, I hope that everyone will do their best to help fight the epidemic.

Hong Kong is in great need now, not just entrepreneurs, but all people are united and can help. In the past, some movements caused Hong Kong to be somewhat divided. Now is a good opportunity for everyone to rebuild Hong Kong. Everyone needs to think more, invest more energy, build Hong Kong, and unite.
