After knowing from Mr. Y and his relatives, Mr. Y is a native of Changtu County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, and a student of Gatuli Kanto University in South Korea. Mr. Y returned from Seoul on December 16, 2019, and has been spending holidays in Changtu County, Tieling until February 28, 2020.

At 6 am on February 28, Y and her relatives drove a private car from Changtu County, Tieling City, arrived at Shenyang Taoxian Airport at 9 am on that day, and took a Korean Air flight KE832 to Incheon, South Korea at 11:15.
