After the uproar in the Egyptian art scene about the possessions of the late artist Ahmed Zaki, producer Hossam Elwan revealed his purchase of papers and documents belonging to the late singer Mohamed Fawzi, which dates back to the middle of the last century, from a popular market in Cairo.

Alwan published on his Facebook account, a picture of a draft contract written between Mohamed Fawzi (1918-1966) and a person named Saeed Ibrahim, regarding the right to distribute the CDs of "Egypt Phone" company to its owner Mohamed Fawzi, and the contract was written on a company paper Produced by Madiha Yousry, who was married to Fawzi at the time, according to the website «In Art».

Alwan also published another document for Muhammad Fawzi, which is the contract to establish the Orient CD Factory between him and the Dutch company "Philips", explaining that he had bought these documents from the Imam Market in Cairo.
