At the 43rd session of the UN Human Rights Council, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that while “civilized Europe is bashfully silent,” there is a blasphemous struggle in the countries of Eastern Europe with monuments in honor of those who saved these peoples from destruction. In addition, the shameful perpetuation of the memory of criminals is gaining speed. In this regard, Lavrov proposed declaring victory in World War II the property of all mankind.

This is logical, because the Second World War really was not like all previous and subsequent wars of mankind. It was not Germany and its allies who fought against the USSR and its allies. Faced the ideology of massacre and enslavement and all the rest. Those who did not want to be enslaved and destroyed.

If communism really was the same man-hating ideology as Nazism, then there is no doubt that the Western countries would prefer to support Hitler - in all other respects he was closer to them. But no: neither Churchill nor Roosevelt in 1941 had any questions or doubts as to whom to support in the Great Patriotic War that began on June 22.

The fact that Lavrov stated about the shameful silence of the West against the background of the shameful activity of the Limitrophs is, alas, not news at all. At first glance, one would think that all these attempts to rewrite a detailed documented common history are associated with a general aggravation of the situation and the growth of Russophobia after the "Crimean spring" of 2014.

Not. In fact, the roots of all these national mental complexes are much deeper. And the answers to the questions lie in the facts that Europeans, Americans and the whole Big West are so diligently trying to forget.

Evian Conference. How many have heard of her?

Meanwhile, it was an even more shameful decision than the Munich agreement. The conference in the French resort town of Evian-les-Bains was held in the summer of 1938 - exactly in the middle between the Anschluss of Austria that took place in the spring of the same year and the autumn occupation of Czechoslovakia.

On this, I’m not afraid of such a word, a bunch of “civilized” countries of 32 pieces together and in unison decided to send German and East European Jews to the slaughter. The US said it had already accepted 27,370 people and can no longer. Britain, which then ruled Palestine, said that there was a quota of 75 thousand people and it could not be exceeded. Australia said 15,000 emigrants are the limit. The same thing - Canada and all the countries of Latin America, which, after the war, without an account accepted SS veterans and other war criminals. The Netherlands graciously agreed to arrange the transit of Jews to any other country, but not to keep it. France and Belgium, in fact, closed the borders.

As a result, the conference ended in zilch. Absolutely all participants, except the Dominican Republic, refused to accept Jews, but the Dominican Republic was small, and there were almost 10 million Jews in Europe then. Two-thirds of them soon died.

Germany was allowed to decide the fate of “its citizens” itself, that is, in fact, Hitler was given carte blanche for “the final solution of the Jewish question”.

I emphasize that the majority of European Jews who survived in the Holocaust were those who lived in Western Ukraine and in Western Belarus in the territories that the USSR had left. Someone independently went deep into the country, and some, by the way, were "saved their lives" by the Stalinist repressions, because of which they ended up in the Gulag and survived.

This is the shame that “civilized” countries so want to forget. The whole "progressive" world then, in 1938, showed its true face. Fear, anxiety about their own afhedrons, criminal indifference. This ultimately led to one of the greatest tragedies of mankind.

We remember, by the way, that the attitude towards the Slavs and Gypsies was no better than toward the Jews. We remember because 27 million Soviet people, among whom the vast majority are civilians, laid their lives on the altar of victory.

Nazism was born and bore fruit in Europe. It was the Europeans - both Western and Eastern - who voluntarily and involuntarily contributed to the spread of this plague. And we, the Russians, and hundreds of other peoples who lived in the USSR stopped Nazism.

Of course, this must be forgotten and extinct. As Goebbels said, the more monstrous the lie, the more willingly they believe in it. Therefore, they now do not just detract from the role of the USSR in Victory, as the West has been doing since 1945. They generally put the USSR and Nazi Germany on one side.

They are diligently, consistently and systematically trying to denigrate and demonize the history of our country. And now Hitler is not becoming such a bad guy, according to the new Oscar winner, the film Jojo Rabbit, in which a good Fuhrer helps a good Hitler youth save a Jewish girl.

Why it happens? Because in this way the West is trying to wash away its collective guilt in the deaths of millions of people with the wrong hands. Therefore, Lavrov’s proposal should be supported by all possible means.

And in our Constitution, of course, the status of Russia as a victorious state in the Second World War should be consolidated. And real criminal responsibility should already come for the demolition of monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in any country in the world, as Sergei Shoigu suggested. Wanted and requested extradition.

Russia is a big and strong country. And once again the question arises: who, if not us? Who will protect our common memory, our common history and our common historical truth? It is time to act. And act tough and decisively.
