New virus: 60-year-old employee at JR Sagamihara station infected.

After a 50-year-old employee working at JR Sagamihara Station was found to be infected with the new coronavirus, a colleague who was contacted was inspected. It became clear that he was infected.

According to the prefecture, the infection was found to be a 60-year-old male employee of JR East who works at Sagamihara Station on the Yokohama Line.

This means that he is not in charge of administrative duties such as work and does not engage in contact with users.

The infection of a 50-year-old male employee working at JR Sagamihara Station was revealed on the 22nd of this month, and the prefecture and other prefectures are conducting tests on 11 colleagues who have been contacted, with results being obtained by the 26th. It means that one of the seven men in their 60s was infected.

The man is currently hospitalized at a medical facility, but has a fever of over 38 degrees C and has symptoms such as cough and malaise.

According to the JR, the man worked in Sagamihara Station, as well as in the offices of Minami-Hashimoto Station, Kamimizo Station and Haratama Station on the Sagami Line.

In the prefecture, it is said that close contact with the general user is "difficult to think", but we will investigate whether there is a scene that comes into contact with the user in the work.

In prefectures and other countries, men consider that the likelihood of infection is high from employees in their 50s who were first found to be infected during their work, and continue to conduct tests on remaining employees who have been contacted.
