Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Hagiuda said at a news conference that he had requested the organizers to cancel or postpone large-scale sports and cultural events from 29th of this month to 15th of next month. He also requested that the National Museums and Museums be closed, and that performances be canceled or postponed at the National Theater.
