"After the death without warning symptoms, that night in a hotel in Beaune, of a tourist from Hong Kong, investigations are underway to remove any suspicion of a case of coronavirus-Covid-19", said the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Regional Health Agency (ARS) in a press release. Pending the results, thirty tourists were placed "as a precaution" in confinement in a hotel in Beaune (Côte d'Or), Wednesday.
"The time of analyzes"
The results of these analyzes will be known "during the day", according to the agency, which adds that, "as a precaution, the group of 30 travelers to which this person belonged, and who was to leave this morning by bus to Paris, was retained within the establishment, the time of the analyzes ". The ARS was not, however, able to specify the source or the nationality of this group of thirty people.
The other customers of the Ibis hotel in Beaune (AccorHotels group), "who had no contact with the group, were able to leave", according to the agency. In a separate press release, the town hall of Beaune specified that the state of health of the deceased client was "fragile due to significant cardiac problems" and confirms the "apparent symptomatology close to that of the virus".
