The number of confirmed cases once ranked second in the country. What have you experienced these days?

In Wuhan in mid-February, the weather gradually warmed. For the first time in 15 days, Lao Hu walked out of a small hotel room for self-isolation. He was a critically ill patient who was recovered and discharged earlier in the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

Lao Hu is 53 years old. He lives in Huanggang, and the disease is also in Huanggang. At present, Wuhan and Huanggang are implementing control measures, and he is temporarily unable to return to his hometown.

Lao Hu has been in the poultry business in the downtown Huanggang for 30 years. Huanggang has ample local poultry supply. He never bought in Wuhan, but there are several seafood stores in the central farm. He buys from Wuhan South China Seafood Market every day. Hu often contacts the owner of the seafood store and plays cards when he is fine.

At the end of December 2019, Lao Hu found that he seemed to have a cold, and he felt cold and covered with quilts on his three beds.

On January 2, 2020, Lao Hu was admitted to Huanggang Central Hospital. On January 5, his condition worsened, and Lao Hu and his wife decided to transfer to the provincial capital for treatment. On January 8, Lao Hu fell into a coma after entering the intensive care unit of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, and his lungs were severely infected. After the medical staff fully rescued Lao Hu, he recovered from the crisis and was discharged on January 28.

During Laohu's hospitalization, his hometown of Huanggang New Crown Pneumonia developed rapidly, and the number of confirmed cases was second only to Wuhan, ranking second in the country.

The number of confirmed patients increased by 8 times within 5 days

Huanggang City is located in the southeast of Wuhan, with seven counties, two cities and three districts under its jurisdiction. The land area is about twice that of Wuhan and the total population is about 62% of Wuhan. In 2018, the GDP of Huanggang was 13% of Wuhan, and the per capita disposable income of residents was 45% of Wuhan. The transportation between Wugang is convenient. Except for the expressway, the entire intercity railway opened in 2014 only takes 30 minutes. The number of Huanggang's business workers in Wuhan is about 700,000 each year. How can we cope with this epidemic in a city that is almost the same as Wuhan in terms of geography and transportation, but lags behind Wuhan in development?

Yi Xianrong, the deputy mayor of Huanggang City and Huanggang City ’s New Crown Virus-infected pneumonia epidemic prevention command, told CCTV reporters that the central vegetable market where Lao Hu once traded was one of the very important vegetable markets in the old city. Basically, It covers all aspects of ordinary people's life, including vegetables, meat, and aquatic products. On January 11, he received a report from the Huanggang City Health Commissioner: Three Huanggang patients with "unknown cause of pneumonia" are being hospitalized in Wuhan, one of which is Lao Hu. Starting from January 12, the central vegetable market will be killed every day, and it will be completely closed on January 23. In addition, more than 20 farmer's markets have also been cleaned up and eliminated.

On January 17, the Hubei Provincial Health and Medical Commission held a video conference across the province. On January 18, Huanggang City established the "New Coronavirus Infection Prevention and Control Headquarters." On January 21, Huanggang City appeared for the first time in the epidemic notification issued by the Health and Health Commission of Hubei Province. Since then, the number of outpatients and confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in the main urban areas of Huanggang has increased rapidly.

Yi Xianrong told CCTV reporters: "From the first batch of 12 cases to 100 cases on January 20, it took only 5 days. Our fever clinics started on January 20 and ended on January 24. The trend reached a peak on January 24th. The number of outpatient visits on that day was more than 3,300. This puts considerable pressure on the prevention and control headquarters. We feel that the treatment capacity is insufficient, so we have urgently requested Initiation of the rehabilitation and site selection of designated rescue institutions. "

On January 19, the Huanggang City Prevention and Control Headquarters decided to transform the Huanggang City Infectious Diseases Hospital to treat patients. Xia Youchun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Huanggang Central Hospital responsible for the transformation, introduced that the hospital's medical staff and temporary recruited workers had been fighting for three days without a break and opened up a three-story ward with 60 beds. The patients were admitted on 22nd, and the next 60 beds were fully occupied. So they set out to transform the outpatient building next door into a suspected case treatment site, but the new 100 beds were fully occupied again within two days.

48 hours to transform Huanggang “Xiaotangshan” Volunteers rushed to the scene with their own tools

On the one hand, there are increasing cases, and on the other hand, already saturated hospitals. In order to solve the problem of severe inadequacy of hospital admission capacity in Huanggang District, Dabieshan Medical Center has become a "small soup mountain" in Huanggang.

This brand new medical center is located in Huangdong Chengdong New District. Construction started in 2015 and costs about 1.3 billion yuan. The first phase of the medical center is a general hospital with a planned 1,500 beds and was originally scheduled to be delivered in May 2020. Huang Weiming, deputy director of Huanggang Central Hospital, was given the task to make the conditions for treating patients within 48 hours.

On January 24, the emergency opening of the Dabieshan Medical Center began. Beds, cabinets and medical equipment were originally scheduled to arrive in May, and the hospital urged manufacturers to ship and deliver in advance. Soon, 1,000 beds and various medical equipment were delivered.

At the same time, there were thousands of volunteers fighting at the scene, and Zhang Fei was one of them. His hometown is in rural Huanggang. He is usually engaged in building materials business. When he learned that Dabieshan Medical Center needed volunteers, he immediately came with his own tools.

Zhang Fei told CCTV reporters: "At that time, we were working until 2:30 in the morning, and that was when we unloaded the last batch of supplies. They were all beds, and the beds were not installed. This bag is a wheel, and that bag is The accessories are packed in a cardboard box, and there are also wooden frames. They are very heavy. A bed needs 6 people to carry it. It can hold about 500 beds in a day. It can be installed in two days, and the work on the third day is basically done. It's over. "

Due to the heavy workload, the delivery time of Dabieshan Medical Center was one day later than the command of the headquarters.

At 2 am on January 26, Ren Hongsheng, deputy director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine, East Hospital of Shandong Provincial Hospital, and the first members of the Shandong Medical Team arrived in Huanggang. After two days of protective training and familiarity with the situation, he entered the Dabieshan Medical Center with his team members.

At 11 pm on January 28, more than 40 patients were admitted to Dabieshan Medical Center. After more than an hour, the intensive care unit started to treat critically ill patients. By 7 am on January 29th, 7 patients were admitted to the intensive care unit in charge of the Shandong Medical Team. With the arrival of more and more patients, the new ward of the Dabieshan Medical Center has also been opened.

Yi Xianrong said: "The opening of the Dabieshan Medical Center fundamentally changed the problem of very scarce treatment beds at the time. We were able to provide 1,000 beds after the transformation. On the other hand, we were able to focus our best medical staff There are more than 560 medical teams in Shandong and Hunan. As of February 9th, they were all concentrated in the Dabieshan Medical Center. "Those who followed the Shandong and Hunan medical teams to the Dabieshan Medical Center also specialized in hospital infection management. Professional team.

At the same time as the opening of the Dabieshan Medical Center, Huanggang City also opened six isolation points to treat suspected cases. As the investigation progressed, more close contact points were added. Recently, the investigation and isolation of fever patients have started again. From January 23, the Prevention and Control Command issued several announcements to gradually improve the control of cities, roads, public places and residential areas. The epidemic prevention and control front has gradually advanced from the end of the confirmed cases.

The data provided by Huanggang City on February 11 showed that the city's village communities had inspected 17.486 million person-times, 45,000 person-times in public places, 1.034 million person-times in checkpoints, 1.907 million person-times in enterprises and institutions, and 13,000 people found fever.

As of February 19, Huanggang City has established 89 places for the isolation of fever patients and 1,833 rooms, and 225 places for the isolation of close contacts and 12,966 rooms. As of February 21, the number of newly confirmed cases in Huanggang City has been maintained at a relatively low level compared with the previous period.

Village cadres on duty at the intersection to pay for shopping for villagers

At first, many rural districts and counties that people were most worried about were not as good as medical resources, and there were zero new cases. Do these seemingly gratifying numbers really reflect the epidemic prevention situation in rural areas? CCTV reporters decided to take a look at volunteer Zhang Fei's hometown.

Zhang Fei's hometown is located in Huayuangang Village, Shangbahe Town, Tuanfeng County, Huanggang City. According to the village party secretary, there are 1,575 villagers in Huayuangang Village, with an average annual income of about 52,000 yuan. So far, no case of new coronary pneumonia has been found in the village.

The village party secretary told CCTV reporters that on January 24th, the village committee received a notice from the township and asked for a comprehensive investigation of the entire village's population. After investigation, it was found that 390 people from the village returned to the village before the Spring Festival, of which 178 were from Wuhan, and arrived home at the latest on the morning of January 24. For the villagers returning from Wuhan, the village committee shall, in accordance with the requirements of the township, issue a thermometer to each household, isolate them at home, and monitor their body temperature every day.

The village party secretary said that from before the Spring Festival to the present, the villagers of Huayuangang Village have hardly gone out, and they have not visited the Spring Festival to celebrate the New Year, all staying at home. The village cadres contracted various villagers' groups and were on duty every day at important intersections. The necessities of each household were also purchased by the village cadres.

According to He Yaoqing, secretary of the Party Committee of Shangbahe Town, there are 28 villages and one neighborhood committee in Shangbahe Town, and the town has a population of more than 32,000 people. Starting from the first day of the first month, townships have thoroughly arranged and registered each household and found that there were more than 1,900 returnees from Wuhan and more than 1,000 returnees from Huangzhou. The townships have notified communities and village groups to pay special attention to these groups. So far, 2 confirmed cases have been found throughout the town.

According to the unified arrangement of Huanggang City, after the diagnosis and suspected cases were found in each township, they were transferred to the designated hospital of the county for centralized treatment. The township health centers are responsible for isolating feverish people, and cooperate with the township government to provide medical care services for close contacts who implement isolation.

Set up dialysis zones for dialysis patients to avoid cross infection

In the quarantine point, CCTV reporters encountered a special close contact-Lao Fan.

Lao Fan said that a patient who had been dialyzed with him a few days ago was diagnosed with a new coronary pneumonia patient, so many patients who were dialyzed together were isolated as close contacts.

Lao Fan told CCTV reporters: "What I am most worried about now is dialysis, because we people can't wait. One day, we all swell like a balloon. One day, we swell."

Right now, there are many close contacts like him who need separate places for dialysis. How to solve this problem?

After finding confirmed cases among dialysis patients, Huanggang City screened new coronary pneumonia for dialysis patients in the city, and set up separate isolation dialysis zones for confirmed cases and close contacts who need dialysis in multiple designated hospitals throughout the city.

Zheng Qin, director of the emergency center of Tuanfeng County People's Hospital, said: "The patients facing the isolation dialysis area are patients with uremia who cannot be excluded from new coronary pneumonia and suspected new coronary pneumonia. We need to screen all patients with new coronary pneumonia. If the diagnosis is confirmed, we will perform CRT dialysis in the isolation ward and at the bedside; for suspected or cannot be ruled out, we will distinguish him from normal patients without new coronary pneumonia to prevent dialysis patients with new coronary pneumonia. Specific populations spread. "

At noon, it was Lao Fan's turn to dialysis. Since Lao Fan is a close contact in isolation, after the dialysis is over, the township health center will also use a special car to return him to the isolation point to continue isolation. (Text / Tian Yuquan)
