On February 25, 2010, Honored Artist of Russia Vladislav Galkin died. He starred in the movie from primary school age, and played his first role in the film by Stanislav Govorukhin "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn." Growing up, Galkin did not leave the profession and became famous for his roles in such films and TV shows as “In August of the 44th”, “Truckers”, “Saboteur” and many others. He collaborated with well-known directors: including Vladimir Khotinenko, Yuri Moroz and Vladimir Bortko. The filmography of the artist has more than 60 paintings. Vladislav Galkin was a laureate of various prizes and awards (Golden Eagle, Nika). The actor died of acute heart failure, is buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.
