During his career, he became known for his versatility. As a stage actor he appeared on most of Stockholm's famous theater scenes and as a voice actor he gave life to cartoon characters such as Bamse and Shere Khan in the Jungle Book.
He was the grandfather of climate activist Greta Thunberg.
