A Canadian plane lost one of its tires shortly after takeoff, while the pilot decided to continue his flight from La Guardia in New York to its final destination at Toronto Pearson International Airport, according to the British newspaper "The Independent".

The Airbus A319, belonging to Air Canada, took off when its crew noticed that it had lost one of its tires while taking off from the US airport.

However the plane, which was carrying 120 passengers as well as its 5-member crew, continued its way to Toronto airport, and landed safely at its destination.

Video footage of the aircraft showed during its flight and then landing, as it appears clear that it lost one of the two tires under the landing gear under the right wing.

The plane landed in a landing strip equipped for the emergency situation, and firefighting and ambulance vehicles were deployed near it, but fortunately it landed safely and no one was injured.
