The famous National School of Administration has become the symbol of a disconnect between the upper administration, the French elite, and the rest of the country. In the midst of the yellow vests crisis last year, the president decided to change everything. The mission he appointed at the time has just submitted his report to the Prime Minister. It contains 42 proposals for more diversity, for senior officials closer to the field, to limit the mentality of large state bodies and to set up a culture common to all the senior civil service. And then, a new name: the School of Public Administration. Beyond the change of name of the ENA, are we completely overhauling the training of elites in France?
