The price of the Kuwaiti "pemphigoid" crop jumped greatly due to the scarcity of its quantities this year, and the price of a kilogram of it reached about 50 dinars, which is the same price as a sheep weighing 20 kilograms is sold in the country, while its price during the last year’s season did not exceed half of this amount per kilogram the one.

And this kind of rare plant is seeing much higher prices than last year in Kuwait, and it is considered an important material when its season arrives, and dedicated auctions are held for it every morning until its quantities are over.

The Kuwaiti pemice competes with a more abundant crop that comes from neighboring countries, such as Saudi Arabia, and is sold at a price of 30 to 40 dinars, and the prices of the Iraqi pemphigus ranged between 8 and 15 and 25 dinars, depending on the size, and the Iranian pemple reached between 8 and 18 dinars per kilogram.
