The big report of the day takes us to Burkina Faso. The country has been the prey for about two years of repeated jihadist attacks in the north and east.

Publicity

To this must be added the violence committed by unidentified armed groups, exploding crime, and the behavior of the defense and security forces not always in accordance with international law. This escalating conflict has already caused the flight of more than 600,000 people. Displaced people who are welcomed in cities, on small sites, but often also within host families, themselves already destitute.

"The plight of displaced people in northern Burkina" is a great report by Pierre Pinto.
