Sources in the Kuwaiti State Security Agency revealed that the person accused of the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) penetration incident has Egyptian nationality, and a charge of "state security" will be assigned to him.
The defendant penetrated KUNA last month, and broadcast news from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, stating incorrectly that the American forces announced their withdrawal from one of the bases in Kuwait, prompting the agency to deny the news immediately.
The source indicated, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper, "Al-Qabas", that the defendant was exposed to a health problem during his interrogation, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital, where he was afraid, and he appeared very tired.
