An unpleasant surprise for the Egyptian artist Amr Youssef, after his final exit from the Ramadan race, as the "Seif Allah" series project, which deals with the story of the companion Khaled bin Walid, was stopped.

Although the hero of the series refused to declare the circumstances of the exit and its reasons, but sources close to the makers of historical drama assured «Emirates Today» that there are major production problems experienced by the work, as he stole from his budget a large amount, and the actor is not yet known.

The series was also exposed to major problems in the Jordan desert during filming, which caused the work to stop more than once, and it was said that it was because all permits were not issued and filming in places that are not allowed.

After all these problems, it was decided to postpone the filming of the series for the next year.

The series "Seif Allah", directed and directed by Raouf Abdel Aziz, starring Amr Youssef, Youssef Shaaban, Rania Mahmoud Yassin, Muhammad Farraj, Sawsan Badr and Bayoumi Fouad, is referred to.

The story of the series is taken from the book of the late writer Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad, "The Genius of Khaled."

The work brought back the debate about the embodiment of religious figures in works of art to the spotlight, as some religious scholars tried to prevent the work, including Ibrahim Al-Dhafiri, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar, who said that the actor who will perform the personality of Khalid bin Al-Waleed must be a measure of prestige that suits Biography of the companion, and this is not available at this time, adding that we will not find in our time a person who can perform the personality of Khaled bin Al-Walid.

Among the fears that al-Dhafiri also warned about is that the series will have many historical errors.
