Zagitova's Akita Inu Masaru's sibling "Katsudai" 2nd birthday February 17 16:29

"Katsudai" greets customers at a tourist facility in Odate City, Akita Prefecture on the 15th, celebrating their 2nd birthday on the sibling of Masaru, an Akita dog given to Zagitova, a figure skating player. People celebrated their birthday.

The two-year-old ceremony celebrated his birthday on the afternoon of the 17th, with a red-haired male Akita dog called Shodai, who is welcoming tourists at tourist facilities in Odate City.

When Katsudai introduced his favorite yogurt and sweet potato cakes, Katsudai began to eat and was flattened immediately.

After that, those who visited the facility celebrated their 2nd birthday by taking a commemorative photo with Katsudai.

Katsudai, a gold medalist for the Pyeongchang Olympics, is a sibling of Masaru Akita, a gift given to Arena Zagitova, and debuted at another tourist facility in Odate City, becoming a local favorite.

A 24-year-old woman from Odate city said, "I feel that I have been a great fan since I made my debut. I'll continue to support him, so I want him to do his best while keeping his physical condition in mind."

Mr. Hitomi Kato, who is in charge of breeding Katsudai, said, "I feel calm and grown up in the past year. I want to work with Katsudai cheerfully as it is."
