The prize of SEK 25,000 will be awarded on May 5 during a seminar at the journalism program at the University of Gothenburg, JMG. Collin will also lecture at the Bäckängsgymnasiet in Borås, Nils Horner's old school.

The Nils Horner Prize was instituted by Borås Tidning 2015 in memory of SR journalist Nils Horner, who was shot dead in Kabul the year before when he watched the presidential election in Afghanistan.
