After the collapse of the USSR, the main motive for gaining sovereignty for its former republics was independence from the Soviet (read: Russian) "occupiers". However, instead of the desired independence, almost all of them immediately became protectorates and dominions of the West: the States and / or the European Union.

For the countries of the European part of the former USSR, the soft occupation of the West was served under the sauce of European integration. The Balts were the first to “successfully” integrate Europe: Soviet military bases were replaced by NATO bases. Powerful enterprises built during the USSR closed. And freedom of movement around Europe turned out to be a mass exodus of able-bodied youth to work in Western Europe, where they occupied the "prestigious" niches of plumbers, cleaners and dishwashers.

As one wise friend of mine said, when a country becomes a part or protectorate of an empire, a gentleman's agreement is concluded: the state receives an improvement in the quality of life and investment in the economy in exchange for political loyalty.

The Russian Empire was built on this principle, and later the USSR. Many countries and peoples became part of it, but instead of plundering the resources and enslaving the local population, which was the basis of West European colonialism, they received schools, hospitals, universities, factories, the development of their national culture and social elevators.

Nothing has changed today. Dependence on the European Union results in a decline in living standards.

Let's look at the former countries of the social block. In exchange for Eurocredits, he imposed reforms in the course of which entire industries were destroyed or came under external control, which could compete with Western European corporations. So, Vaclav Havel destroyed the powerful Czechoslovak defense industry, the Bulgarians closed the cheap nuclear power plants, putting their energy under the control of senior comrades, exorbitantly overpaying for heating and electricity.

Normally only those countries live where Eurosceptics came to power defending their interests, and not following the Brussels regional committee.

For example, Hungary, where the government of Viktor Orban makes decisions that are useful for the Hungarians, and not for the EU, and sends a stump of the European bureaucracy.

Nevertheless, our former neighbors in the Soviet Union do not want to learn from the mistakes of others, voluntarily becoming colonies of Western Europe.

Just the other day, the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova turned to the European Union for financial assistance in the framework of the next “Multi-Year Financial Perspective”. We are talking about the economic program of the EU for 2021-2027, which is now being actively formed in Brussels.

The foreign ministers of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova are asking the EU to take into account the “scale and ambitiousness” of the reforms that are taking place in their countries and to allocate financial assistance for the next seven years to continue the process of European integration. Also, Brussels was asked to increase the amount of financial resources for the needs of the states - participants of the "Eastern Partnership", which includes Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

But the EU never gives loans for beautiful eyes. Any large loan will result in economic and political reforms for Ukraine, which will fill the pocket of a Western European businessman, but not a simple Ukrainian.

In fact, all political life in Ukraine is a struggle of “sucking” with “Kolomoisky” and “pro-American” politicians, where everyone simply does not give a damn about the country and its people.

So, in Ukraine, reform is coming, allowing you to sell Ukrainian agricultural land. Obviously, its buyers will not be peasants who do not have money for it, but large European companies. Ukrainians will soon have a huge amount of bad loans, but not even their land will be left under their feet.

It is obvious that the “scale and ambitiousness” of the reforms taking place in Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia is not European integration, but the final enslavement of these countries. The colonialism of Western Europe has not disappeared, it just changed its name. Now it is called "European integration".
