Connecting water area off the Senkaku Two ships of the China Coast Guard sail at 11:01 on February 16

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, two vessels from the China Coast Guard are sailing offshore of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, in a connection area just outside Japan's territorial waters.

As of 9:00 am on the 16th, one of the two ships was sailing about 32 km west-northwest of Uotori Island in the Senkaku Islands, and the other was sailing about 40 km west-northwest of Kuba Island. We continue to warn and watch to keep out of territorial waters.
