Europe, the leading continent against global warming?

Faced with global warming, the ambition of the European Union is great. It intends to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050, that is to say not to produce more carbon dioxide than it will be able to absorb.

The Green Pact will involve a transformation of all economic sectors: energy, transport, industry, agriculture and change the lives of citizens. It will be expensive, at least 1000 billion euros. But it could be an opportunity to breathe new life into the European project and reconnect with the concerns of Europeans. Will Europe be the leading continent against global warming?
