The list of elected Marseille officials affected by far or near by a scandal related to substandard housing continues to grow. According to information from Marsactu, a local investigative media, the husband of the former Marseille housing assistant Arlette Fructus rents rooms in the condominium targeted by the courts for the unsanitary conditions of certain housing in this complex located on rue Mireille, in Marseille.

As a reminder, the Marseille public prosecutor's office has opened a preliminary investigation around this co-ownership where slums are rented, for accommodation conditions potentially contrary to the dignity of the person. Questioned by Marsactu, Arlette Fructus, who recently resigned from her functions, says that she does not know that her husband owned these three properties in this condominium. Among the other co-owners is also Jacques Ansquer, appointed by the metropolis to pilot "citizens' meetings on housing", supposed to provide answers on this subject.
