The Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Ajman, Colonel Mubarak Khalfan Al-Razi, thanked the "Emirates Today" for its humanitarian and charitable role, and its rapid response by presenting the cases of inmates of the penal and correctional institutions via the "hotline", which requires everyone to support such inmates, which are They have financial issues or legal rulings, and release them.

He said: "We commend the contribution of the management of Dubai Islamic Bank and the donor, to pay the amount due to the inmate," stressing the endeavor to release the prisoner and return him to his family to start a new life, within the next few days.

He pointed out that all the cases that were announced to help them are stumbling in financial rather than criminal cases, and their cases are carefully studied by the prison administration, to ensure the extent of their eligibility for donations of the people of goodness.

Al-Razi called on the members of society to lend a helping hand to this group of prisoners, as their difficult financial conditions compelled them to remain in their prison after serving their sentence.

The inmate expressed his happiness and profound thanks to the bank’s management and the donor for their standing with his suffering, and he is locked behind bars, unable to do anything about his case. He said, "The hotline staff contacted me to inform me that the payment had been taken care of. I was very happy. Finally, I will be released and start a new life with my family, knowing that this news rejoices my family and my children indescribably."

And citizen (Salem) told his story previously to «Emirates Today», saying: “Five years ago, I was out of work, walking on a vital road in Ajman, committed to the traffic and traffic law and adhering to the regulations, and I was surprised that someone from the nationality of an Arab country crossed before me without precedent. Warning and from a place not intended for pedestrian crossing, and I could not avoid it, and therefore I collided with it and stopped the vehicle at once, and after my descent I saw him lying on the ground, and he was bleeding from one of his feet, and immediately called the ambulance and the police, knowing that the insurance of the vehicle that I was driving was expired. ”

He added, “After a full year has passed, I received an absence judgment after deciding on the case, which is compensation for the injured person with the amount that I owed, because the person suffered a disability, as I paid 165 thousand dirhams, and I remain 240 thousand dirhams, and the amount was another shock, because it was Above my financial means, I tried hard to settle the matter with the aggrieved, but he refused after several failed attempts, and my conditions deteriorated due to the accident, and I entered prison in 2018 for a month and a half months, and during this period my services were terminated from my work because of the absence period, and this third shock to me after Shock of the accident and the amount of the sentence.

He explained, "I made bail to get out of prison and try again to make a settlement with the person asking me, but unfortunately he refused to do so, and at the beginning of this year I was arrested, and currently I am in the central prison in Ajman, due to the financial case that I have."
