Fashion models dressed in chocolate attire walked on a walkway in Brussels, the night before last, at a show that brought together couture designers and producers and sellers of fine chocolate.

The 14 creations at the annual Salon du Chocolate exhibition included a colorful jacket with petals of protruding chocolate from the fabric.

"This is a mixture of fine fashion and Belgian chocolate," said Sixteen fashion designer Sixteen de Molina, adding that she spent five months working on this design, which includes 1,000 pieces of chocolate.

"Sometimes, it is difficult to determine which part of the dress is actually chocolate, and which part of it is colored," she stressed.

The show included another dress decorated with chocolate inspired by the masks of festivals, while there was a third costume consisting of a long dress in brown, light brown and red colors, similar to handicrafts.

This fashion show opens a three-day chocolate exhibition, and includes workshops, an opportunity to taste products, and discussions, where show organizer Gerard Palacios estimates that it will attract about 25,000 viewers and participants.
