Boldsky, a health site, reviewed eight morning habits that he said were bad and overweight:

1- Neglecting to drink water
Not drinking water in the morning is one of the worst habits that impede weight loss even for those who follow a healthy diet. Drinking one or two cups of water, preferably warm, in the morning is one of the best habits that you can start your day, especially if you want to lose some extra kilograms from your body. Drinking water in the morning promotes metabolism and reduces appetite.

2- Eat processed foods for breakfast
Eating some processed foods for breakfast is one of the worst habits that begin with your day, as it may destroy any weight-loss diet. Processed foods are rich in fats, sugars and salt, and hence hamper any attempts to lose weight, and they also increase appetite. These processed foods can be replaced with fruits, oats, or nuts, for example.

3- Not eating breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal throughout the day, as it is the meal that gives you the energy necessary to perform your tasks during the day, and it also helps in maintaining a moderate level of glucose in the body. And not eating breakfast is a big mistake that affects the body's metabolism and slows down the fat burning process.

4- A little meal with breakfast
Likewise, eating a little breakfast in its nutrients is a common mistake. The ideal breakfast meal should contain 500 to 600 calories, and should include carbohydrates, protein, antioxidants, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. This integrated meal helps in losing extra weight.

5- Eat late breakfast
Breakfast should not be delayed, as this helps in gaining excess weight, because the body needs the energy derived from breakfast in order to exercise its usual activities. The empty stomach in the morning secretes large quantities of acidic juices, which increases inflammation, especially the stomach. Therefore, nutritionists advise eating breakfast within two hours at most from waking up in the morning.

6- Not exercising
Exercising in the morning helps burn fat and get rid of calories, which limits weight gain. This does not necessarily mean going to the gym, but running or walking in the morning.

7- Excess sleep
Sleeping for 7 to 8 hours per day is considered very beneficial to health, but sleeping more than 10 hours per day increases body mass. Excessive sleep will delay your breakfast, which affects your body's metabolism rate.

8- Not to be exposed to the sun in the morning
Do you believe that not being exposed to sunlight in the morning makes you gain extra weight? According to studies, the ultraviolet rays from the sun in the early morning are very beneficial to the body and promote metabolism.
