Rami Malek is convinced that having acted in Bohemian Rhapsody allowed him to prepare for his role in the next James Bond, Dying can wait . The actor, who played Freddie Mercury in the biopic of the singer of Queen (a role which also won him an Oscar), revealed in an interview for Esquire that the madness of a filming the scope of a James Bond would not have been possible without having gone through another monumental and iconic project such as Bohemian Rhapsody .
"In a way it built me armor for something like that. It gave me the confidence to protect myself during filming. I think it erased the anxiety I could have felt by turning into something so big, "he said.
