Marie-Josée Croze plays the role of Claire, a young woman who lost her husband Gabriel in Thailand during the 2004 tsunami. She returned to France shortly after the drama and discovered that she was pregnant. Years later, we find her in Abu Dhabi, when she rebuilt her life with Lukas and raised her child. We learn that she previously worked in cybersecurity and that she was held responsible for a nuclear accident in Kazakhstan. It is in this context that she will find Gabriel, the husband she thought dead.

An international series

"Mirage" is a spy story tangled in a love quest. Claire finds in the same city the two men of her life, is caught in a dilemma and undergoes betrayal and manipulation. "She goes from one despair to another," concedes the actress. "I did a lot of cinema at a time when cinema was very strong and robust. It has become more difficult to put together [projects] today. Television has grown in scale, more and more people talented people make television. " If Marie-Josée Croze is not used to filming series, she says she was delighted with the end result.

She adds that she had to work on her English for the shooting and that she made her own dubbing in French. The series has a real international dimension since actors of no less than fourteen nationalities collaborated for its realization.
