On March 3, a 4-year-old boy who had participated in Setsubun events at a certified children's garden in Matsue City was found to have died beans in his throat. The children reported to the police that they needed to investigate the situation in detail because they had been sowing beans after eating the softened beans.

According to Matsue City, about 20 children and eight nursery teachers participated in the "Matsue Certified Children's Garden" in Higashi Asahi-machi, Matsue City on March 3rd, and a special event was held.

After eating the softened beans for the number of years, the kindergarten children sowed, but along the way, the nursery teacher noticed that a 4-year-old boy had fallen.

A nurse at the facility provided immediate care and the boy was transported to the hospital, where he died shortly after suffocation of beans in his throat.

None of the nursery teachers who participated in bean sowing noticed the boy's anomaly, and they did not know whether their throat was jammed during meals or bean sowing.
