Two rising cinema stars will soon be brought together in a British independent film. According to Deadline, George MacKay and Lily-Rose Depp will indeed be the headliners of Wolf , a "genre" film according to the publication, which tells the story of a man who takes himself for a wolf and refuses to accept his human condition despite the treatment of a very severe doctor.
Written and directed by Nathalie Biancheri (known for the film Nocturnal ), Wolf does not yet have a release date, but we already know that it will have a modest budget, of 2 to 3 million dollars.
Success announced
After the successes of 1917 for George MacKay and The King for Lily-Rose Depp, this Wolf is likely to be one of the films to follow in the months to come. The feature is presented by the production as an exceptional and overwhelming story.
It will be offered to potential buyers at the European Film Market next month and shooting is expected to start in April in Ireland.
