Actor Mark Ruffalo at the 92nd Academy Awards - PictureLux / Starface

Mark Ruffalo is the first name to be heard in the casting of the Parasite series developed by HBO. According to the site Collider, the actor of Avengers is already in negotiations with the string to play the lead role of the adaptation of the masterpiece by Bong Joon-ho, who comes out of a weekend pomp at the Oscars with four awards, including Best Film and Best Director for the Korean filmmaker.

The latter would also work with Adam McKay to adapt in five or six episodes the frame of his film (which we will not spoil here, but whose review you can read there).

No confirmation

For the time being, HBO has refused to confirm whether Mark Ruffalo will play well in the series, indicating that development is still in its infancy. Collider claims, however, that Bong Joon-ho has already contacted the Hulk interpreter in the MCU to discuss the role with him.

It is possible, still according to the site, that Mark Ruffalo interprets the father of the family, played by Song Kang-ho in the film.
