Two men returning home on the new virus charter aircraft Confirmed infection February 11, 15:45
Last month, two new Japanese coronavirus infections were confirmed among Japanese returning to Japan by charter aircraft from Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
The infections were confirmed in men in their 50s living in Wuhan, who returned on their first flight on 29th of last month, and men in their 40s living in Saitama, returning on their second flight on the 30th the following day.
Both were negative in the virus tests after returning to Japan, but as a result of continued fever and other tests, it was confirmed that the infection was confirmed.
Infection was confirmed in 12 people who returned home on charter aircraft.
