Broadcaster Park Myung-soo shook his heads with some sellers raising mask prices after the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

At the KBS Cool FM 'Myeong-soo's Radio Show' broadcasted today (31st), Park Myung-soo talked about the new corona theme with Jo Woo-jong and big data expert Jeon Min-ki.

On this day, Jeon Min-ki said, "The new corona is the biggest concern of the whole people these days." "The mask is now out of sync because it spreads faster than the MERS. The price has increased several times."

Park said, "I bought a mask, but I was informed of the cancellation."

Also on the day, Park said that there was a possibility that the corona virus appeared in bats. "There are food cultures in each country, so I can't disparage them."

The recent proliferation of new corona has caused the price of new masks to soar several times in some shopping malls overnight. In connection with this, the government decided to enact a prohibition on buying and selling until the beginning of next month, to respond strictly to market disturbances of merchants using consumer anxiety.

As a result, hoarding or selling goods for profits will result in imprisonment of up to two years or a fine of up to 50 million won. In addition, if a company raises the price of a mask with a false price, it will be jailed for less than three years or fined up to 200 million won, and penalized up to 10% of sales.
