Prince Andrew - Ferrari / Starface

Prince Andrew did not at all appreciate the words of the New York state prosecutor, Geoffrey Berman, in charge of the Epstein case. The latter said, at a press conference held outside the former financial financier's building, that despite several requests from the FBI and its own offices, the son of Queen Elizabeth II did not had not followed through. Words that left Prince Charles' brother "furious and perplexed".

This is what a source from the Duke of York told the Guardian, who went so far as to contradict American officials. According to the relative, Prince Andrew is "more than happy to collaborate, but no one has approached him".

"He is angry at the way he is portrayed and perplexed by what has been said in New York," added the source, adding that the son of the monarch has "committed to following the legal procedure".

Last year, Prince Andrew tried to explain his links to Jeffrey Epstein during an interview for the BBC which turned out to be catastrophic. Following this, he announced that he was retiring from royal office.

Jeffrey Epstein, for his part, was found dead last August in his cell where he awaited his trial for sexual crimes against minors. The medical examiner concluded that he had "apparent suicide", an official cause which caused a scandal in the United States.
