For 40 years, Alberto Gettieres Giron has lived alone between the mountains of Nicaragua, carving about 300 feet of mountain rocks with his bare hand, transforming him into a work of art, as he saw him in his dream when he was nine years old.

Giron is known as “the stone man”, “the hermit of Nicaragua”, and “the mountain sculptor”, who was born according to his statement on October 17, 1944, even though he does not have any documentary evidence documenting this, residing in a wooden hut in a village near The city of Esteli, located near the Mount Galacate overlooking the Tese Estanzuela Reserve, was the stone mountain peak of 300 feet that inspired Giron to fulfill his childhood vision, and to begin sculpting the summit when he was still thirty-three years old, in the seventies of the last century.

Gereon spends about three hours a day sculpting his art between the corners and areas of mountain rocks, converting them into nature-inspired drawings, in addition to the famous buildings that are still stuck in his memory, explaining, according to "Soil Advise", that his huge mountain sculpture looks exactly as he saw it in His dream about 70 years ago, specifically on his ninth birthday.

The dream was stuck in the memory of Giron for decades, until after the thirty-third visit of the garden and his vision of the rocky mountain peak, he decided to make a decision to move to the area and radically change his lifestyle, to spend his life sculpting his art and to retire humans and the luxuries of life.
