Queen Elizabeth II and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, meet the winners of the competition - ANWAR HUSSEIN COLLECTION / SIPA

What does Brexit matter! French gastronomy still has its place within the British crown. The Queen of England is looking for a "sous-chef" specializing in French cuisine to "motivate" her brigade at Buckingham Palace, according to the ad published on the website of the British Royal House.

The candidate must have "a thorough knowledge of food techniques" and be trained "in classic French cuisine". Whoever assists the chef should be able to "plan and develop menus for a wide range of occasions", including cocktails or banquets.

British nationality is not required, which suggests that French applicants are welcome. The chef must be available 5 days a week or more, for a basic annual salary of 22,076.04 pounds (around 26,000 euros) and some benefits. Tip for potential applicants: Her Majesty does not support garlic or onion, according to its former chef Darren McGrady. Finally, to find a job, it may be enough to cross the Channel!
