Second charter flight arrives from Wuhan Symptoms such as fever on 14 people Jan. 11, 11:58

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, the second flight of a charter aircraft carrying Japanese wishing to return from the local area has arrived at Kesa Haneda Airport. It means that 14 of those who return home have symptoms such as fever.

With the spread of the new coronavirus, mainly in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, the second flight of a charter aircraft arranged by the government arrived at Haneda Airport around 8:50 am.

There were 210 people from the local area on the second flight, and those who returned got off the charter plane and were called "Terminal 2 Satellite" at a different location from the terminal building at Haneda Airport. After going through immigration procedures and baggage collection, they move to medical institutions in order to undergo a virus test on a bus prepared by the government.

According to officials, it is estimated that 14 people will return to Haneda Airport to medical facilities by ambulance at 11:30 am among those who returned on two flights at 11:30 am.

Four hospitals in Tokyo with dedicated facilities for treating infectious diseases are preparing for these 14 patients.
