The words of Estonian parliament speaker Henn Põlluaas scattered around the world, who accused Russia of rewriting the history of World War II “for the sake of its goals”, of violating international law and agreements. The politician also recalled the “danger from the east,” which has not disappeared anywhere, and therefore it should be remembered hourly.

He spoke all this at the NATO base near Tallinn, where the Polish contingent had just stepped on duty. Now it is Poland that has taken the lead in establishing the pillars of truth regarding World War II. Everything is simple there: the victim country, caught between a rock and a hard place, between fascist Germany and the communist Soviet Union, therefore both regimes should share responsibility for the sorrows that have befallen the world. And, of course, no one set Hitler on the USSR, tyrants despots clashed with whom it became crowded on the planet - they all suffered.

The version of this shared guilt is extremely convenient, because it removes from many European countries the burden of responsibility for that war, for their common campaign to the east. Germany has repented and reformed, others have nothing to do with it, Russia alone rests and “rewrites” history, which many have already agreed to.

Now here are a number of former Soviet republics swear allegiance to this historical version. The Ukrainian president Zelensky did not have time to take the “oath of allegiance” when Estonian politicians arrived. They act harmoniously, as in a well-sung choir. However, for them this now more and more actively broadcast version of the big war is the only true one, because they emerged from the decay reality in which they received their "independence", or the right to betray ...

Oaths are those who build their policies on rabid Russophobia. As if there’s nothing more to say, but this is the basis of self-identification. If there is no tales about the threat from the ominous east, they simply get lost somewhere, become useless to anyone. Therefore, the ranks of the axis of speculators are blaming, blaming Russia for everything. There, the chain reaction of Russophobia there has already become a natural process, without it, nowhere: bubbling, slamming, squawking - and the bubble of swamp gas will be ejected ...

So the Estonian speaker draws the image of absolute evil. His story is criminal, although this thing changes its appearance, but the essence is the same: aggressive, insidious and wild. Confronting this “danger” is a matter of the future, therefore, one should vigilantly stand on a combat post and take preventive measures. The traditional tenets of the Russophobic sect, which do not know common sense, have long been in their empire, in their trance. Feel at the forefront - as a kind of barbed wire and hazard warning at the same time.

In general, all this version of the history of the Second World War, which is now being pumped up, claiming the character of a mainline and unshakable one, appeared as a propaganda wall-to-wall weapon during the Cold War. And there is no revelation in this. After that, it was actively used in perestroika times to strengthen the mental crisis of the Soviet Union and instill an inferiority complex.

Then, before the collapse of a large country, these propaganda cliches were baked on a stream and snapped like hot cakes with an unknown filling. Chaos was sown in the minds of people, so the heroes were subverted and achievements were trampled.

On the other hand, anything was justified, including betrayal and collaboration. Volsovshchina prevailed, and there Bandera with a host of police punitive climbed out of their crevices. They got out, shook themselves off and became the new heroes of progressive Ukraine. When there was nothing more to subvert, they began to blame the Soviet Union for starting a war, up to the allegations that "the fascist sword was forged in the USSR." There was such a book, based, of course, on "irrefutable" documents and facts. In such wilds they started a total search for "complete truth", a thirst for insight and the fight against "false historiography" ...

Level of argument? .. Well, let’s say, as if to accept an episode from Bulgakov’s “Heart of a Dog”, where professors Preobrazhensky are asked to sacrifice the starving children of Germany for proof of Soviet support for the future fascist regime.

What then happened to these children? Did you disappear near Moscow or in the trenches of Stalingrad? So the Soviet Union itself is to blame for the fact that they later came. Apparently, they believed that the bread place was there, such a view was taken out of childhood ...

But still, in those tragic and deceitful perestroika times, and even in the nineties, all allegations of the USSR’s proportionate guilt for World War II did not yet pretend to be a dogma. Version and version. Free world, have the right to custom orientation. Perhaps, not so much time has passed since that war: such a shameful lie would be obvious and obvious, and therefore waited in the wings. Now, before our very eyes, reinforced concrete tablets are pouring out of all this propaganda brew, supposedly containing the only true "truth", from which a step to the right, a step to the left - it is clear that: universal censure and the hell of isolation coupled with sanctions.

That is why a manipulative attack on the memory and truth of the Great War with the aim of dogmatizing its convenient view of it is going on all fronts. As a rule, these whistles are timed to significant anniversary dates. Not a single one is skipped so that no stone is left on the stone, or at least spitting it savory. Either they vilify about the blockade, or again try to slander the heroes, or trample on other pages of the history of the Great War.

At the same time, the Soviet role in victory is diligently leveled, overwritten. The goal is clear: to throw the blame for the rivers of blood from the “civilized” world, to mobilize for new threats, to induce oneself to paranoid vigilance, and also to knock out the main single symbol of Russia, giving our country self-esteem and integrity, because the triumph of self-awareness of domestic civilization is connected with victory. There is already a struggle not with this or that regime, but with Russia, which, in fact, was the Hitler campaign in the east of united Europe. Russia is guilty of the fact of its existence, it should have ceased at the beginning of the 20th century, but “rewrote” history. If not for it, Hitler would have arranged his “European Union” - which only in Europe did not happen! - and there would be no big blood.

Actually, Estonia started its “campaign” a long time ago. All the years of “freedom” she has been committed to this course.

The swamp gas of Russophobia will result in a completely different ... sanitary effect. Again it will blow smoke from the side of Vaivara or Klooga, and, as you know, Soviet and Polish citizens were kept there. They had a common misfortune and tragedy, which they overcame, now politicians of all stripes are mocking and sowing discord. It is possible that they just sadly regret that they themselves were not taken on that campaign.

It is no accident that the SS legionnaires go to idols in Latvia, where they organize their marches, in the same Estonia. No one talks about his guilt for atrocities and does not repent of anything. And the authorities there are acting legionary. Isn't this all rewriting history? ..

For example, Sputnik Estonia journalists are exposed to frankly repressive measures and police blackmail. They are simply intimidated by criminal cases. Back in December, it was announced that if they did not quit, then a prison was waiting for everyone. Do not quit. Now prison, Klooga camp? After those threats, RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan wrote an open letter to the Estonian president and concluded with the words: “We, like you, really do not want to be ashamed of Estonia” ...

Now, in order to talk about this lawlessness and the flagrant violation of media freedom, the executive director of MIA Russia Today Kirill Vyshinsky and the head of Estonian Sputnik Elena Cherysheva went to the PACE session. “I want you to know that in a European country that positions itself as a democratic, official authorities, the police threaten criminal cases against journalists only because they work for MIA Russia Today,” Cherysheva said.

The authorities of this proud and freedom-loving country (however, Estonia is not alone here) have long been demonstrating their approach according to which discrimination against everything Russian is perfectly acceptable. And then there are arguments in the form of rewriting history "for their own purposes", "danger from the east", so that all means are good ...

Were not many European countries behaving in a similar way in those very pre-storm years? ..
