The pictures show the worst Desert Locust outbreak in Kenya in 70 years, and hundreds of millions of insects have ravaged this year’s crop of farmland.
Locusts invaded the east African country from Somalia to Ethiopia, destroyed agricultural land and now threaten famine.
The rain causes it to grow very quickly before the drought in June limits its numbers.
Small groups of locusts can eliminate enough food for 35,000 people per day.
