"He loved what he did so much"

"He called me every day and I found him very breathless," she said on the 24-hour news channel. I said to him: "You're out of breath Michou!" Yes, he says, "I have a few problems with my breathing, but I'm fine, I'm fine." So he said to me, "Do you know that I go to the cabaret every day? I would die if I didn't go." He liked so much what he did, he liked his cabaret, he liked "Chez Michou". "

"Michou died early this Sunday morning in a hospital in Paris," said François Deblaye, press officer for the cabaret and the artist. His real name Michel Catty, "Michou" had opened in 1956 his famous cabaret on rue des Martyrs which has welcomed celebrities and strangers every day for more than 60 years, having dinner before the spectacle of transformist artists taking up the songs of the great stars of the time.
