The plot. Bérénice is the only daughter of Sylvie and Paul. Bérénice cannot be a pupil of a banal school in eastern Paris, a "school of shit". She must join a factory for champions of the Left Bank where she will have the best teachers and attendance.

This book was read with humor in the face of the ploys of this father who wants at all costs the best for his daughter and irony in front of this picture of our excessive consumer society.
