The activities of the ninth edition of the Abu Dhabi Classical 2020 music season, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi and du du Live, will start during the period from January 28 to February 7, with an exciting program of distinguished music evenings that celebrate classic and traditional selections, with the performance of the brightest stars and teams The international orchestra, led by Lebanese star Magda El Roumi, is at the forefront.

The “Maidan du” and the theater of the Cultural Complex in Abu Dhabi host the concerts on the season program, which witness a distinguished presence of: French pianist David Frey, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, French pianist Liz de la Salle, and young Egyptian talent Sana Nabil.

Abu Dhabi Classical Music Season 2020 also celebrates the 250th anniversary of the birth of the greatest German composer of history, Ludwig van Beethoven, through a ceremony that highlights his timeless musical legacy.

Pianist David Fry opens the Abu Dhabi Classical 2020 music season with a distinctive concert under the name of the two, three and four piano concerts for Bach on the stage of the Cultural Foundation on the 28th of this month. The Geneva Chamber Music Orchestra will also accompany the "David Fry and Friends" group, which includes alongside Frye: Emmanuel Christine, Audrey Viguru and Jacques Rove.

On February 1, 2020, the young Frenchman, Les de la Salle, will accompany the piano lovers in a solo concert during which the sweetest melodies will flow around the cultural complex. De La Salle's performance, dubbed "Dances", embodies the unique musical method adopted by the French player, as she explores the rhythms and melodies inspired by different cultures and time periods, and highlights the impact of Latin music and American dance culture. During her concert, de la Salle performs a piece of waltz by "Walt Nobles e Sentimentales" by composer Ravel, "Tango" by composer Stravinsky, "Greek Folk Dances" by composer Bartok, and "Mazurca" by composer Debussy.

The Hamburg Symphony Orchestra also participates in the Abu Dhabi Classical 2020 music season. The orchestra is internationally renowned for its unrivaled performance of Beethoven's and Brahms's greatest works, and has performed two magical concerts this season. On February 4, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra will seize the spotlight at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Complex, where it will participate in the Chamber Music Program, and will be astonished by the high performance of Tchaikovsky and Brahms music. On February 5th, members of the orchestra, composed of more than 100 musicians and 70 singers, will perform the 9th Beethoven Symphony at the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi.
