Two revolver bullets in an envelope. Minister of Public Accounts Gérald Darmanin and Minister of Economy Bruno Le Maire received new death threat letters, Bercy revealed on Wednesday. The Paris prosecutor's office has opened an investigation.

In one of them, the author calls for the retirement of the pension reform to be abandoned. The two revolver bullets were taped to one of these non-handwritten letters, sent to Bercy and consulted by AFP. "You convince (...) Macron that this is enough, that he withdraws his reform, otherwise we massacre", it is written in this letter.

A letter during the G7

These threats are not the first received by ministers since their appointment to government. Previous letters had notably been received last September, or, as regards Bruno Le Maire, just before the G7 of Biarritz last August.

After the complaint filed by Bercy, the investigations were entrusted to the brigade for the suppression of personal delinquency (BRDP) of the Paris judicial police.
