Two Indian grooms decided to cancel their wedding after the groom's 48-year-old father escaped with the mother of the 46-year-old bride.
According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail", the families of both parents filed a police report, stating that they lost, lost contact with both, and disappeared from view since January 10.
The newspaper added that they were neighbors in the Katar Gham region in the Indian city of Surat, and they knew each other since childhood.
One of their relatives said, "They had known each other for many years, and they previously had an old love affair."
The groom was scheduled to hold their wedding in February.
