"Baby & Family" magazine reported that the severe redness of the baby's tongue warns him of what is known as scarlet fever, which is a contagious bacterial disease that attacks children during the winter season in particular, because it is transmitted through the radiance caused by sneezing and coughing.

In addition to redness of the tongue, symptoms also include throat pain, swollen tonsils, swollen lymph nodes, difficulty swallowing, fever, and rash, as well as vomiting and fatigue.

Cochineal fever is treated with antibiotics, and it can be prevented by adhering to health requirements such as washing hands, and avoiding contact with people with it.
